  1. I had never imagined I would see myself on the news. It was unexpectedly! At spring, when I was watching TV, I saw myself. I was so excited! The newsreader was talking about a voluntary work of our school and there, on the screen, was a picture of me and my friend.
Then I called my friend and said :" Do you know that we were shown on TV tonight?". he didn’t want to believe me. “It isn’t a joke,” said I.
At the morning I was so nervous.I was afraid what would my classmates said. But everything was allright. When we came to school next day, our classmates were asking us a lot of questions all day. I was happy, not every day happens something as great as this happens.

  2. I had never imagined I would see myself on the news. It was cool. The newsreader was talking about a football match, it was helding in Samara on the "Metallurg" stadium. And there, on the screen, was a picture of me and my uncle, screaming football chants.
"Dad! Uncle Andrew and I are on the TV!" - I said. Then I called my uncle and said the same to him. There were only good feelings in my mind.
In twenty minutes I received two calls from my friends. It was amazing for them to see myself on their fovorite sport programme. But I forgor it in few days, because in fact, nothing has changed in my life and I continue to live in customary (usual) conditions.

  3. A Wonderful Feeling.

I had never imagined I would see myself on the news. It was so unexpected! The newsreader was talking about a road accident and there, on the screen, was a picture of me, as I happened to be a witness.

At first, I got surprised and felt at a loss. Then I remembered there was a cameraman on the spot and also a reporter asking questions concerning the casualty.

There were other people involved, of course. They also saw a car running over a man. They felt indignant because the driver had violated the traffic rules. They confirmed that the man crossing the street was innocent.

After I saw the news I received a lot of phone calls from my friends. They wanted to make sure that it was me on the news.

In the end I got to feel like a hero. It was a wonderful feeling being in the spotlight.

  4. I’d never imagined I would see myself on the news. It was cool! The newsreader was talking about the best school in Samara and there on the screen, was my interview. I was presenting my school, answer the questions and talking about our traditions and teachers.
Suddenly, all my relatives started to call me and congratulate. “Liza, you looked smart and talking with confidence!”- said my Dad.
Later, at the end of the program newsreader told that our school has won the price of the best school of Samara. Then my class teacher thanked me and asked to present our school in other competition. This is the way I get popularity in my school.
It was my first experience. My Mom record this program on disc and always show it to guests when they come. So, I’ll never forget this day.

  5. I had never imagined I would see myself on the news! It was a fascinating experience. One evening I was sitting back and turning over the channels. On the one of them I unexpectedly saw myself! It was a little interview after a summer festival. It was an amazing surprise for me because I didn’t think that they broadcast it on the main channel!
My family and friends liked it. “Oh, you say good words quite confidently” – said they.
After I had appeared on television nothing unusual happened. I don’t think it’s an unforgettable experience which I should be very proud of – it’s just 30-second video and nothing else.
I enjoyed this video quite well, but I don’t want to work on television. Maybe I would like to appear on TV again one day but for my own achievements, connected with my future job for example. It’ll be a terrific purpose!

  6. I had never imagined i would see my self on the news! I was very nervous when i saw it. The newsreader was talking about our school, that arranges different volunteer organisations , UNESCO projects. Suddenly,i saw my friends and myself. It was unexpected for me and i was very happy. We take part in various projects, working with little children as a nurse,so our interviews were there.
My parents said : You speech were good and your look was perfect.I felt terrific at the end of the day.But next day i forgot it.I think it is a good experince for me and me friends. Some of girls were very excited, they were talking about this interview for several weeks.
But in my opinion this job is very difficult.Yoy must always know what to say and how to say it properly. You have to know many languages and read many books about all things in the world. It`s very hard work. And i`m proud of people, who is working on the television.

  7. I had never imagined I would see myself on the news. It was horrible! In the evening my mother and I were watching TV news when suddenly I saw my picture on the screen in the newsreport.
"Look! It is you! What were you doing on the Volga Embankment so early?" my mother asked me.
The newsreport was about sightseeing of Samara. Operator shot different views and how Volga Embankment is clean and beautiful in the morning. Unfortunately, on this day my friends and I decided to miss classes and to go to Volga Embankment and our company got into the news by accident.
"You will be punish!" my mother said.
I was upset and went to my room. Since then I have never missed classes and I want to forget this unpleasant situation.

  9. I had never imagined I would see myself on the news. It was awesome!
The newsreader was talking about a competition in a magazine. "Look, that is you" my mum said. I looked at the screen and found myself there!
I remembered, that tree months ago, I sent a later to the magazine, to take part in the competition. And now I won! I am so happy!
I thought, that nobody can win in such competitions, that it is impossible. But now I am a winner, and a lot of my friend saw the program on the tv and gave their congratulations to me. It was priceless. It was the best day of my life!
I understood that everything is possible, if you want it and try.

I had never been in such a situation before, so at first it seemd very stranged for me. I was hesitating! But mum said "Nothing is worry about! It`s great!" Moreover my friends congratulated me. At last I enjoued the experience.
I forgot about my appearance on TV in a few days. As loads of home assignment leaves very little free time to enjoy such moments.

  12. I had never imagined I would see myself on the news. It was horrible! the newsreader was talking about The Museum of Local History, which was on fire.

"Oh, God! I lool like a criminal!" - I shouted, and my parents ran into my room. "I am innocent!" - I cried. "What should I do?".

My mother advised me to go to the police station. After we came there I explained the situation and described what I was doing at the moment of arson. Eventually the policeman brought in a verdict of not guility.

Finally I came back home exhausted, but with the sense of releif.

  13. It was me!
I had never imagined I would see myself on the news. How excellent it was! The newsreader was talking about schoolers, who achieved great results in the olympiads. "Here am I" - I whispepred to myself.
I was lying with my cat on the sofa. She decided that the news was quite boring, like all the reality without food and stroking master, so she continued slleping.
Nearly after 2 days all my family knew about the event and congratulated me gracefully.
All the schoolers, who showed great results in the olympiads were given a three-year educational journey to every European country they choose. It was a great possibility to learn new languages, culture,people...
I could be really pleased to go to Austria, but it was definetely a lovely dream...

  14. I had never imagined I would see myself on the news. It was great! The newsreader was talking about opening of a new shopping center and on the screen was a picture of me .
I phoned my mum and said 'Did you see this?'. She said 'Yes, of course! You are very lucky!'
l thought that cameraman had time to photograph me when I were in entertainment center. Also there were my friends too. They said 'We were really surprised when we saw you on the news'. I am sorry my friends weren't on TV with me, but I think they'll be lucky next time.
When I came home my granny and grandpa asked me a lot about my "acting career". So this evening was full of joy and fun.
    It was an unforgettable day.
